Chien-Shiung Wu is a pioneer and pivotal figure in the history of physics. Also known as the First Lady of Physics, she did important work for the Manhattan Project and in experimental physics including groundbreaking discoveries about the breakdown of atoms.

Join us for a fun and educational story crafter about Chien Shiung Wu, famous Chinese-American particle physicist!

We will read her biography Queen of Physics: How Wu Chien Shiung Helped Unlock the Secrets of the Atom and then discuss her work and what atoms are as we craft our own atoms with pipe cleaners, pom poms and string.
