Join author A.J. Sidransky for a talk about his latest novel, Incident at San Miguel (2023), based upon the family history of local Cuban-Jewish resident Miriam Abrahams.

This work of historical fiction is the thrilling story of two brothers who find themselves on opposite sides of the Cuban revolution.

Books will be available for purchase and signing. 

A.J. Sidransky writes about ordinary people faced with extraordinary situations and events.  His works include Forgiving Maximo Rothman, Forgiving Stephen Redmond, Forgiving Mariela Camacho and The Interpreter. His short stories have appeared in anthologies, magazines, and e-zines. "The Just Men of Bennett Avenue" was released in August 2022 in Jewish Noir II, an anthology examining the intersection of noir and the Jewish experience. A.J. Sidransky lives in upper Manhattan with his wife.
