Event Details
Jena Friedman’s Not Funny, takes on the third rails of modern life in a bold, subversive style, with essays on cancel culture, sexism, work, celebrity worship, and…dead baby jokes. Pulling a laugh from topics deemed too raw, precious, or scary to joke about. Jena shares stories of taking on those who told her she was too “unlikable” to make it. Jena shares her struggles to make it in a world that would rather tune out a woman confronting the indignities we’ve been told to bear.
