To keep celebrating Banned Book Week let's grab scissors, glue, and your voice. Zines are a rebellion you can hold in your hands! Since the 1960s, zines have been a way to spread counterculture, activism, and creative resistance. In this workshop, you’ll create your own page, leave it with us, and we’ll assemble all the contributions into a full collaborative community zine celebrating the freedom to read and freedom from censorship.
Draw, collage, sticker, and share your story—let’s make something together! Open to all, come anytime and create.
Meet us in the second floor lobby anytime between 10:30am-5:30pm to create a community zine!
