Celebrate Beethoven's 250th birthday with the Dakule Trio at Long Beach Public Library! Joined by new cellist Josh Epstein, violinist Daniel Hyman, pianist Leonard Lehrman, and soprano Helene Williams, the group will show clips of their remarkable performance from Beethoven’s Variations on a duet from Mozart’s "Magic Flute," including an aria from Beethoven’s only known opera “Fidelio." Video will be interspersed with live commentary from the performers about Beethoven's extraordinary music and life. Questions and discussion are welcome!

This concert is dedicated in memory to Kurt Behnke, founding cellist of the Dakule Trio, who passed away from COVID-19 on March 31, 2020.
