During Black History Month, we celebrate the influential and groundbreaking Black Americans who made history with their art & music, activism in Civil rights, their creations, innovations and inventions.
Join us as we celebrate the life and contributions of Garrett Morgan, Inventor of the traffic signal!
Garrett Morgan was a Black inventor who changed our world with his innovation of the traffic signal, making our roadways safer! We will read his biography Saving The Day: Garrett Morgan's Life-Changing Invention of the Traffic Signal and then create a fun traffic signal craft together!
