Come meet modern pop artist Michael Albert and join his fun, hands-on collage workshop! Learn to create your own beautiful collage using upcycled materials like cereal boxes or other paper and cardboard products. During the session, you'll meet Michael Albert in person, hear a talk about his artwork, and then create your own collage using the same materials he uses to create his own work. Participants will also receive a free poster signed by Mr. Albert as a special gift for coming to the event! Note: if you prefer to make your collage personal, bring upcycled cereal boxes and/or paper cardboard products from home!
Modern pop artist Michael Albert was born and raised on Long Island where he graduated from Lawrence High School in 1984, and currently lives & works in White Plains, New York. He is the author of an artist autobiography titled, “An Artist’s America” (Henry Holt, 2008) and is nationally known for making art from cereal boxes & other printed cardboard consumer brand packages.
