Event Details

Join staff members Jake and Shauna for a discussion of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.

This first novel in the oft-adapted and immensely influential 1979 British Sci-Fi comedy series follows a seemingly average man, Arthur, as his life is upended with the destruction of earth. He finds himself thrown into an interplanetary adventure with everything from aliens to disenchanted robots on a quest to find meaning in an increasingly complicated universe.

Copies are available at the circulation desk and on Libby.
