Her career spans the Broadway stage, Hollywood (as a performer, director and songwriter), television, concerts, and recording. She is famous for her portrayal of Fanny Brice as well as films like Funny Girl, Yentil, and The Way We Were. From her legendary television specials of the 1960s to her sold out concerts all over the globe, this Brooklyn native has accomplished every goal she set for herself in the entertainment industry. Learn about Barbra's extraordinary career and life in this dynamic presentation, led by Marc Courtade.
Marc Courtade has over 30 years experience in the performing arts. He is a frequent speaker all over Long Island and the New York area on Broadway musicals, opera and legendary performers. Marc teaches courses on opera and Broadway musicals for the Frick Estate Lectures at Nassau County Museum of Art, specializing in Musicals and Opera.
