Event Details
The Long Beach Library joins the Countywide Celebration of Juneteenth! This "Teach-In" entitled "Family Renunion: Educate, Celebrate, Heal" includes live music and videos for adults, families, and children.
If you want to know more about Juneteenth, this program will help everyone understand the definition of Freedom after the Civil War; the history of the Black Family in the United States; and a brief overview on tracing your roots provided by the African Atlantic Genealogical Society, Inc. (TAAGS).
All members of the community are invited to attend!
