In recognition of Juneteenth (June 19th), join historian Martin H. Levinson to discuss the impact slavery had on America and the ways that slavery formed us as a nation. 

Martin H. Levinson has written and lectured extensively on topics of historical interest. He holds a PhD from NYU and lives in Riverhead. This program is presented through a partnership with West Hempstead Public Library, Rockville Centre Public Library, and Freeport Memorial Library.
