The 2022 Long Beach International Film Festival is proud to present the following dramatic shorts in the Auditorium located on the 2nd floor of Long Beach Public Library:

The Beast directed by Benjamin Cook
Trapped in a cabin that's nestled deep within the wooded copse, a man struggles to cope with the demands of a creature that feeds at nightfall. With increasing desperation and haunted by past memories, he has to question how far he is willing to go to survive.

Bucket Head directed by Michael Loccisano Jr.
In the presence of a carwash fundraiser, Chris’ best-friend Sam and fellow club members support Chris as they overcome their insecurities.

Gloss directed by Benjamin J. Murray
When a new "love drug" is released, two seemingly compatible people decide if dating is worth the risk to find true love or if all their problems can be solved in one little pill.

Unsteady directed by Matt Kops
When life is darkest Jackson Tyler (Matt Kops) awaits a visit from death (Nik Noto) when he is interrupted by Betty Conners (Cas McKenna), who convinces him to reschedule with death.

The Way Things Go directed by Tofer Moran
A birdwatching hobbyist follows the song of the birds, deep into the wilderness, until he finds something he wasn't looking for—a dying man. Here, alone in nature, his humanity is challenged. And only the birds are his witnesses.

Child of Wood directed by Tyris Lemon
A wooden doll experiences the good and the bad that life has to offer from a window seat.
