Let's finish our Summer Reading Program properly!

Join us for a community Fun Fair at Kennedy Plaza to celebrate all of your hard work during our Summer Reading Program! 

All Day (11am-5pm)

  • Giant Bounce House for Kids
  • Adult Bounce House
  • Fairy Tale/Storybook Photo Op
  • 360° Photo Booth
  • Games including giant Jenga® and Connect 4®, Corn Hole, Giant Dice, Big Chess and more!
  • Win Library Swag at our Prize Wheel and Plinko game.
  • Visit Nassau County Library System’s Techmobile.
  • Tomatomania Tomato Contest
  • Friends of the Library

11am-1pm Kids’ Craft with Artists in Partnership

11am-1pm Kids’ Craft with Balloon Mission

2:30-4:30pm Face Painting with Long Beach Art League

1:30pm Entertainment: Christopher Agostino's StoryFaces - Adventure Tales - StoryFaces is an exciting and unusual storytelling show in which volunteers are brought on stage and face painted to illustrate stories as Christopher tells them.

3:00pm Entertainment: Concert Retro 69-Songs from the Year of ‘69! Bring a chair and enjoy songs from the Woodstock era! Dancing and singing along encouraged!

AND Food and Ice cream! Vendors throughout the day including Cookery A La Carte, Pat's Bakehouse LI, Long Beach Ice Cream Cart.
