Program Description

Event Details

If you've ever tried to meditate and struggled to stop the thoughts in your head, this practice is for you! As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a life-long dancer, Marissa is inspired by the connection between mind + body + soul. Marissa began teaching Euphoric Dance to help people quiet the mind by getting out of the head and into the body. This form of meditative movement promotes profound somatic healing. Participants are encouraged to keep their eyes closed as much as possible in order to better connect with their own body. We'll begin with seated breathwork and meditation followed by a gentle stretch. Slowly, we'll rise up to our feet and lose ourselves in music and intuitive movement! The emotional expression and freedom of the soul experienced through this practice is pure euphoric bliss! Finally, we'll ground down after with a relaxing savasana. Participants are recommended to wear comfortable clothes, bring a yoga mat, a water bottle, and an open mind.
