Join Miss Eileen and Miss Tanya for Meet The Artist Storycrafters! We will be reading a book about American artist Augusta Savage and make a craft in the style of her art.

Who Was She?
Augusta Savage (February 29, 1892 – March 26, 1962) was an American sculptor associated with the Harlem Renaissance. She was also a teacher whose studio was important to the careers of a generation of artists who would become nationally known. She worked for equal rights for African Americans in the arts.
