Join Miss Eileen and Miss Tanya for Meet The Artist Storycrafters! We will read a book about Mexican artist Frida Kahlo and make a craft in the style of her art.
Who Was She?
Magdalena Carmen Frida Kahlo y Calderón (July 6th, 1907 – July 13th, 1954) was a Mexican painter known for her many portraits, self-portraits, and works inspired by the nature and artifacts of Mexico. Her paintings often had strong autobiographical elements and mixed realism with fantasy. She is also known for painting about her experience of chronic pain.
