The Long Beach Public Library is pleased to present "Meet the Music Makers!"  

Join us live on Zoom for an intimate conversation with Frank Meyer and Eddie Spaghetti of the Supersuckers with host Darren Paltrowitz. Register below to submit your questions to Frank and Eddie!

Lead singer/bassist Eddie Spaghetti has toured relentlessly with his band, the Supersuckers, over the years, sharing stages with groups like Social Distortion, Bad Religion, The Ramones, Motörhead, Flogging Molly, Reverend Horton Heat, New York Dolls, The Dwarves, and White Zombie. The band has also recorded with Steve Earle, Eddie Vedder, Kelley Deal (The Breeders) and Willie Nelson, who they also backed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.  

Frank Meyer is an award-winning author, filmmaker, and musician. In addition to working for Fender Musical Instruments, NBC’s Esquire Network, and G4TV through his career, he is the author of several books, including On the Road with the Ramones and Van Halen: A Visual History 1978-1985. He’s composed music for Law & Order: SVU, Fox Sports, Animal Planet, MTV, and more. He also directed the documentary Risen: The Story of Chron “Hell Razah” Smith, a feature film about a Wu Tang Clan affiliate rapper who suffered a near-fatal brain aneurysm.

Darren Paltrowitz is an LBNY resident, music journalist, and host of the podcast "Paltrocast with Darren Paltrowitz." He has written for the New York Daily News, Inquisitr, The Daily Meal, The Hype Magazine, All Music Guide, Guitar World, TheStreet.com, Businessweek, Chicago Tribune, L.A. Times, and the Jewish Journal.
