Join Librarian Joan Yonish for a viewing and discussion of the 2017 documentary film Maria by Callas (1h, 53m | PG) about the life and career of the Greek American opera soprano, Maria Callas. Starring Fanny Ardant and Joyce DiDonato with archival footage of Maria Callas. Directed by Tom Volf. Nominated for Best Documentary at the 2018 Chicago International Film Festival.
Registration not required. This is an in-person program taking place on the 2nd floor of Long Beach Public Library.
