Poetry Festival 2025: Poetry in Motion - Film Screening and Q & A

This short film showcases 12 Long Island poets and the thriving, energetic Long Island Poetry scene. The poets were filmed reciting their original poetry in nature at Hempstead Lake State Park and the Lido Beach Passive Nature Preserve. Poetry In Motion was co-produced by Gregory Cioffi and Paula Curci, and directed by Gregory Cioffi. After the film, Curci will lead a Q & A with Cioffi along with poets and team members who worked on the film.
