Don't lose your independence! Every second of the day in the United States, an older adult falls. Falls are more common than strokes and can result in health problems that are just as serious. They are the leading cause of injury and deaths from injury among older Americans and the number one reason older adults lose their independence, but they are not inevitable. Taking some simple steps to prevent falls can help you or those you love stay active, confident, and independent. Join LORI GINSBERG, RN, MA from the Katz Institute for Women's Health as she explains some simple strategies you can do to prevent a fall. You won't want to miss this important program.
