Event Details

Come learn about the different species of seals seen in New York and Long Island waters. As NY's only rescue facility for these animals, the NY Marine Center will teach you about observing seals in their natural environment, how human interaction can negatively affect them, common seal illnesses and injuries, and what goes into getting seals back to health. Find out how you can get involved in helping to protect and preserve our local marine environment!
