Love birds? Then join us for this presentation at the Library on all the amazing Nassau County birds who have migrated from the South after winter. Photographer Jay Koolpix will explain how birds find mates, secure territory, and raise their young as soon as they arrive. There is plenty of activity as temperatures warm up with a wide variety of beautiful birds.

*Then join us for a guided bird walk at Nickerson Beach led by the South Shore Audubon Society!*

This is a free program offered by Long Beach Library in conjunction with the South Shore Audubon Society. Transportation will not be provided to Nickerson Beach after the lecture. We'll meet you there at 11:30am for the bird walk following the presentation. Attendees will need to be able to walk on sand. Please bring binoculars and cameras if you'd like...there will be terrific photo opportunities!
