Event Details

Join Miss Eileen & Miss Tanya to learn a bit about geology and rocks!

We will chat about natural stone, minerals and gems and how they are formed in the Earth and "mine for gems" in our pop-up dig site!

We will show off our NEW Rock Tumbler, and then compare natural stone samples to some of the same minerals and gems that we have tumbled and observe how they become polished into beautiful gemstones!

You can also bring in a rock that you found and we will tumble it for you!
