Long Beach Public Library is proud to welcome photographer and artist Michele Huttler Silver to the Library's art gallery on the 2nd floor of the Main Branch

In honor of Women’s History Month, photographer and artist Michele Huttler Silver presents her outlook on women of different faiths from Judaism, Islam, Christianity, Sihk and Hindu and the importance of hair covering.

The exhibit celebrates women from all over the world who express their spirituality through the act of covering their hair and addresses questions about hair covering as it affects women in religion.

On Wednesday, March 23, the artist will host a special panel discussion at the library featuring various women from different faiths sharing their experiences. The exhibit runs from March 1 through March 24.
