Off-Site

As a participant in an off-site event held by Long Beach Public Library, you agree to indemnify, release and hold harmless the Long Beach Public Library, all of the elected and appointed officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and/or agents, from and against any and all liability, loss, damages, claims, or actions (including costs and attorney fees) for any harm, bodily injury including economic, physical, or mental, including death, or property damage incurred by me, to the fullest extent permissible by law, arising out of my participation in an event that is held off Library property.

Outdoor Events

In the event of inclement weather, outdoor events will be cancelled at least 1 hour before the event start time. Please register to receive event updates by email or visit our online calendar for cancellation and/or rescheduling information for your specific event.

Exercise

As a participant in any exercise class offered by Long Beach Public Library, you agree to indemnify the Library and the instructor from and against any losses, liabilities, claims, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) which may arise, for any reason whatsoever, as a consequence of any claim made in connection with the negligence or improper conduct of the Program Presenter or its agents or employees.
