Let’s Stroll through time in Long Beach with Fond Memories and Golden Treasures with our Special Guest Lester Kappel. Lester has been living in Long Beach/Lido Beach for 90 years. He was on Civil Defense Patrol under Mayor Theodore Ornstein in the days of blackout orders. He studied Powerplant & Aircraft Mechanics at Roosevelt Aviation School in 1941. We will take you on a tour of the Museum that Lester & his wife Gloria created together. Photographs by Barbara Cittadino.
