An estimated 50 million people are living with dementia worldwide, and there are nearly 10 million new cases every year, according to the World Health Organization. Get the facts about dementia - including Alzheimer's disease - in this important program which will cover: 

  • the symptoms and warning signs of  dementia
  • treatment options and the importance of early diagnosis
  • free caregiver support services that are available

The Willing Hearts, Helpful Hands Program - a community service of Parker Jewish Institute - provides free assistance to caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias living in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
